Kerrisdale Cameras & Fujifilm Canada - Vancouver
The clouds were moody and menancing as I headed over Lions Gate bridge to False Creek to check out Kerrisdale Cameras’ photo walk event held with Fujifilm Canada. Luckily photographers are a hardy bunch, everyone was smiling and I’ve never seen the False Creek of Vancouver looking more interesting and photogenic. On arrival, Fuji’s table was laden with shining lenses and all their newest camera bodies, it was like Christmas in April! I was lucky enough to try out both the XH2S as well as the XT5, both were fantastic. Three lenses later: the new 33mm, the latest 56mm and - introducing the first zoom lens I’ve ever completely loved - the 50-140mm. Holy what gorgeousness is that lens! So to be honest I barely noticed the clouds opening and first rain, and then hail and, wait, is that snow? The Fuji love is strong. And luckily it’s also weather-sealed.
